Jo That's very interesting. I have also wondered whether men's groups tend to attract more than their fair share of misogynists, but the speaker clearly has a genuine axe to grind against his accuser. Quite disturbing that he said that he hasn't come across a single case where the police have bothered to gather evidence that supports the accused's side of the story.
hedda I was always pretty wary of "men's groups" which are often filled with blokes who get pissed off with mothers getting custody and having to pay maintenance..but the emphasis on the notion a woman is always right and never lies shifted the balance..
