Oh yes; one of MUST visit places if you're ever in Florence; still the same premises; some glorious fragrancies; they made some for Elizabeth 1st!

I think it was. The same company makes aftershave too.

I have a Brush With Fame story with scents. When I arrived in Sydney I had a lovely PR friend who worked for a huge department store chain David Jones.
She rang me a fluster and said she had a VIP visitor in town..the very famous German designer Wolfgang Yoop & the stores were promoting his after shaves etc but no-one in Oz had ever heard of him.
She wanted me to grab a few pals with cameras and pretend to be paparazzi and dog his every movement over his 3 day promotion in all the stores.
I did and it was a huge success and Wolfgang invited us to his farewell party (we couldn't give away the snaps).

You should actually write that, Hedda.
I cant bear most aftershaves and perfumes. I wear Jean Patou's "Joy" which is a simple rosy/soapy smell.
I really wish Lynxx deodorant and aftershave didnt exist. Half the world seems covered in it and I want to tell them that sweating freely will smell much better than this!
