I worked briefly with Alex Mitchel (in a huge media outfit)..he was superb journalist (now retired) who never hid his 'leftist" views but I doubt ever printed an untrue fact in his life.
He talks about the cruel attacks upon actor Geoffrey Rush. Possibly the only 'left-wing' person who has seeing the entire Left (including UK Labour) seem terrified of attacking the false allegations industry.
When a senior male politician is interviewed on camera by a senior male TV presenter, it’s a very unedifying spectacle reminiscent of a cockfight between two self-important roosters.
A set-piece interview between two high profile women, when both of them are on the make, is simply sad and tragic.
The ABC interviewer here is one who claimed a certain high profile religious figure would "never return to Australia and will cowardly hide out in The Vatican" when his doctors said he was too sick to fly but completely zipped her lips when he got on a plane once he was told he'd face serious criminal charges.
## my prediction is that that matter will become one of the greatest false allegations scandal when the entire story is eventually told and the person is finally exonerated. The corruption including by cops is awe-inspiring.

All over the world the backlash is settling in - the vast majority of se claims are at best exaggerated and at worst invented and there are many influences - police, lawyers, politicians, judges, media - working against justice but the few honest and decent in all areas are starting to see the truth.
