No Green Man- what she was not racist ..it was the truth..perhaps not said in the best way but the truth but it seems like you haven't a clue how insidious racism works..as you demonstrate it.
Diane Abbott time and time again as the first black MP, even though she's Cambridge educated unlike many of the Tories, suffers the worst abuse of any MP in history (do your research- at the last election Abbott was the recipient of 10,000s & 47% of all attacking tweets riddled with sickening racism).
She is regularly and has been for years, abused in the street that makes the attacks on Anna Soubry look like kindergarten stuff. Because she is black and enough Brits still ignore the racism that is inherent in British society and is getting worse.
Abbott is subject to an arrogance that proclaims her as an idiot because she make a mistake..because she is black.
While white MPs make mind boggling mistakes- while Parliament is largely peopled with timeservers and completely useless prats, many of who I wouldn't let wash my car (the PM has been a non-stop disaster as was the last one)..Abbott's transgressions and blown totally out of proportion because she is black and because she has the temerity to be uppity and seek high office.
I mean Britain is is in the most mind numbing almighty fucking mess caused by the Brexit disaster..no matter which side you support... the most unbelievable almighty stuff up in modern history caused by teams of politicians who have basically torn the country apart and you post a thread about Diane Abbott complaining about how she was treated...and it's looking more and likely that what she says is true with the BBC apologizing partly for Fiona Bruce's actions...and you try to endorse you pathetic claims by a 20 year old (true) quote and you really think no-one will notice it's because Dianne Abbott is BLACK !!!
When she makes a mistake people will come out of the brickwork and try to decimate her.
I could list the 1000s of idiot mistakes made in public by MPs of all parties in the past few years that are forgotten within weeks.
What Diane Abbott says & does is watched by a legion of critics like hawks to the point where Green Man demonstrates..a fairly innocuous (and true) statement from 20 years ago is trotted out in condemnation.
I think I'll do an ITK and give this site a miss for the time being. Too many fuckwits at present.

The very fact this thread was posted is a sign of the underhand racism that pervades the UK considering the entire incident is rather small compared to what is actually happening.
But because Diane Abbott has made a legitimate complaint seeing Fiona Bruce was vile the way she bullied Abbott with the Labour poll rubbish she becomes a figure of fun.
Repeat for the hard of reading : if the jokes made about Abbott beforehand in the studio which 3 witnesses now claim were racist and mocking she has a legitimate complaint.
