Well, well, that was quick!

The tweet, which resurfaced after he was readmitted to the party on Monday, said: “Jewish people with any sense of humanity need to start speaking out publicly against the ruthless murdering being carried out by Israel!”

Drawing attention to the tweet, the Labour MP Ian Austin said: “Keen to address the Jewish community’s concerns and widespread worries that the Labour party has been taken over by a sectarian hard-left faction, the party yesterday readmitted Derek Hatton.”

Hatton’s tweet has since been deleted.

Perhaps it's rather like saying "Black people with any sense of humanity need to start speaking out publicly against the ruthless murdering being carried out by Zimbabwe'.

For one thing, it seems to imply that the people concerned may be short on humanity.

Ah, that would make sense. Thank you.

'The ECHO understands that the tweet - which has now been deleted - included criticism of the actions of the Israeli government and urged British Jews to speak out against its actions.'

Given the reason some of the MPs walked out it is not surprising....they will now try to be seen to be 'tough'......on anti Jewish rhetoric....

....Expect more silly actions from the political parties in the run up to Brexit...

Evening, SM.
I think someone is going to have to explain all this to me, slowly and carefully, because I cant for the life of me see how this could be anti-Jewish.
