JK2006 A decent journalist would have investigated - for how long was the boy on drugs? Were they sold or given to him? Were they contaminated? What percentage of users can experience serious effects like paranoid schizophrenia? Can behaviour like this be attributed to the effects of drugs on some people? If so, could the persons who supplied or dealt the drugs be considered assistants in any crime committed? Where did the drugs come from? Were there problems with the original suppliers of the drugs? What was the back story of the original drugs suppliers - were they gang related? And any sex involvement - were there any elements of child sex abuse involved? Did anybody have sex with the boy when he was below the age of consent? If so, by who? Sex and drugs with a child provides a very dangerous atmosphere and such a situation might well explain certain actions.

That is what I would expect from an investigative journalist writing for me, if I were the Editor. Not the autopilot rubbish (Ian Brady??? Ironic???) printed here.
JK2006 on Aaron Campbell (Alesha's killer) by David Jones. Every cliche in the book; lousy research; caricatures and grisly prose. Instead of investigating how this dreadful crime happened, instead of tracing links and examining facts, it's all gossip and penny dreadful stuff.
