I agree with Jeremy Corbyn who wants that housing to be affordable housing.
Only went there once to visit a lady friend who was on remand for an alleged drug importation. I took her a Harrod's Hamper which you could do in those days.
She spent 9 months on remand thinking she would be convicted but the police dropped the case. She was furious.
Went she went to collect her belongings, car etc from police she says they only returned £500 while she says they seized nearly £3000 in cash from her.
Police don't do such things do they?

Amazing potential for a landmark residential site.
It's been achieved already in other historic sites, in the London environs.
Such as military barracks - like Chelsea, Woolwich and Caterham.
Many churches are also being deconsecrated - as usage is low, these days.
Developers buy them, even though they're usually listed.
Allowing you to buy an apartment on a crypt, altar, naive or choir.
The alternative non-box concept is very popular...

Every time I drive past it I think what a great situation it is in; great news - 1000 new homes; if they do it well, it should be fantastic.
