Barney My m8 tells me...

- only one drop of wine is needed (for catholic mass)

- and one drop of water

- billions believe that the mixing of the two, by one individual, creates the Body of Christ

- they can't all be wrong?

- or is Islam, Judaism or Trump philosophy better

- and more accurate

- perhaps it's better to be angry at everything

Partly because the only religious books allowed are the Bible - and the Koran.

Also, wine is required for mass - and that is prohibited by the prison authorities, as are all alcoholic beverages.

Some say - that for a prisoner not to be allowed to follow his religion - is an infringement of his human rights.

But there are few precedents for this predicament - as catholic clergy have been relatively rare inhabitants of prisons, so far.

GP has hired an expensive 'celebrity lawyer' for his June appeal; A$25,000 a day, the papers say.

Many of those commenting publicly think his appeal case is not without merit.

But the Catholic church allows alcoholics to use a wine substitute- at least, certain priests do.
