I'm not surprised by Joe Biden doing that as he strikes me as a genuine empathetic person and his entire life has really been one of helping people. He's very much loved by his constituents.
But it doesn't take much to destroy these days and Joe Biden is serious candidate who could derail Trump in 2020.
It's another example of how the media either purposely or unwittingly fans the flames of a Witch Hunt.

About 10 years ago in a car park somewhere, someone parked their car an inch over the white line adjoining my parking space. When I say an inch, it was probably a centimetre, but it felt like an inch back then, more like a foot today. Should I consider myself a car crash survivor?
"Karasek said she met Biden after appearing onstage at the Oscars with a group of 51 sexual assault survivors and Lady Gaga in 2016. She said that after she told Biden about a friend who had died by suicide, Biden took her hands and put his forehead against hers, a moment that was captured in a widely publicized photo.
Karasek told the Post that she appreciated Biden's support but said the encounter made her uncomfortable because of the close proximity of their faces. She told the paper that she did not know how to respond to the gesture at the time."
Still, some kind of sexual transgression is what this fuss implies, isn't it, especially in the age of #metoo? It's rather low of them to be reinterpreting an empathetic gesture as something offensive, or that the press should be doing that for them.
