Barney Mercurio can be quick to kill characters off.

Like the Home Secretary (Keeley Hawes) in Bodyguard.

Which presumably means a second series is impossible!

JK2006 A good piece on BBC Brekkie with the actress playing the baddie/goody (clues galore) - I think this series has really lived up to the high standard previously; I mean can you imagine the likes of such a huge star as Daniel Mays (in the last series) being killed off???? NEVER!
wyot I agree competely;Line is desparately brilliant...
JK2006 One of the pleasures of Line Of Duty is seeing how many other viewers notice small clues in the shows; the Twitter comments are fascinating, very bright and often funny.
JK2006 Gripping episode; it is clear why Jed Mercurio is so highly rated.
