JK2006 how the world changes? Years ago, when I emerged from prison after serving three and a half years for crimes that never took place (and for which my appeal is currently being considered), as a result of the music industry declaring that anyone falsely accused or rumoured or wrongly convicted should become a pariah like Carey, we put my hits and others through AWAL - Artistes Without A Label. A tiny little company who looked after getting us onto iTunes and onto digital media. One of their first "Artistes" - now hugely successful, I saw new star Tom Speight on the BBC proudly displaying his label - AWAL!
