Misa A couple of very interesting elements in this story (for a Savile saddo like me):

In the three years following Savile’s death in 2011, 29 claimants received compensation for alleged abuse by the celebrity. In total they received £126,700. Thirty-nine claims naming Savile have been rejected since 2010.
1) 39 claims rejected, against 29 accepted. (39 people less credible than Carl Beech?)

2) Some people claimed compensation (and were refused, apparently) whilst Savile was still alive, and perhaps two years before allegations were broadcast.

If this is accurate, it may raise some interesting questions.

There's one of the pennies starting to drop. Only about 20 years too late.

Let's see if the Mail can join the dots.

(Excuse the mixed metaphor)
