JK2006 And please also read The Enablers Part Two thread which looks at Charities. Carl Beech and his close association with the NSPCC and NAPAC and others may bring an unfortunate (for them) spotlight on charities.

Which brings me onto another common denominator with these false allegations bunch: they all seem to have deep religious beliefs of some kind. Mostly Christian fundamentalists.

At the risk of incurring JK's wrath, Mike Hames [ex head of Obscene Publications Squad at the Met] wrote a book in 2000 entitled "The Dirty Squad". Chapter 12 details the handling of ritual abuse allegations. However Hames made some other and perhaps really pertinent observations in terms of wider allegations:
