I'm wondering when the dark forces will arrange for Boris and Trump to get the convertible limo out and go for a cruise around Texas if they don't tow their masters line.
Some might even crowdfund it.

I'm still reeling from the fact quite nasty right-wingers (in the media & politics) are viciously attacking 16 year old Greta Thunberg for daring to be a young person worried about her and other's futures but are more than happy that 16 year Conservative Party members voted for the goose Boris to be PM.
I think the UK (and the US) may be fucked for decades to come.

And now Jo Swinson is stupidly going on about a No Deal; Vince Cable would be speaking about Brexit, not No Deal. When Boris triumphantly says "I've got a great deal" Swinson will nervously say "well it's better than No Deal but..."

7000 people read this in the first 35 minutes of publishing it - including, according to IP's, several top journalists. Perhaps now a National Newspaper will investigate the story.

Brexit. It is blatantly obvious what Boris is doing; he will "renegotiate" the withdrawal agreement - removing the backstop and replacing it with a guarantee from both sides that there will be no border in Ireland no matter what, plus a couple of minor tweaks to the finances and laws. Then he'll try to get that through the Commons - which, hopefully, will only happen if there is a confirmatory referendum. Since Boris knows (rightly) that the entire Brexit thing is terribly unimportant (it's like "Should VAT be 19% or 21%?") he really doesn't care what happens - if the country throws Brexit out (as it will) he can shrug his shoulders, weep crocodile tears and say "oh well, the public have spoken".
