Jo It seems that the Victims' Commissioner, Dame Vera Baird, has picked up on a suggestion from a lawyer who represented Danny Day, David Bryant's false accuser, and written to the justice minister proposing that the rule of double jeopardy be dropped for those acquitted of child abuse offences.

Do we need a Victims Commissioner?
