God may be a better ally than Satan but he seems to work rather slowly; odd considering he created the world in seven days!

I was really hoping this story would break several months ago. When I was in Rome in May, I met several people who were absolutely certain of Pell's innocence. Some blamed the very anti-Francis Vatican establishment but a couple pointed the finger firmly at Saunders, calling him a "very evil man". I wanted to be sure information reached the Appeal panel before they decided but time was not on my side. However, now, I think it might be just in time for the Supreme Court.
Already mailed it to Gerard Henderson a journalist on The Australian who has supported the notion that Pell should not have been convicted on the word of one person when there was no other evidence.
Henderson is derided by the left leaning media but I find he makes a lot of sense.
I think the Australian media will ignore this revelation. You only have to google
"George Pell Peter Saunders" to see how they lapped up Saunder's attacks on Pell including the local "60 Minutes" which broadcast the ridiculous "Lords,Spies & Predators"claptrap now discredited.

Good suggestion.
The incarcerated Pell has promised to reply to all communications from his prison cell.
And the article would also be passed to his lawyers.
When convicted of ignoring child abuse, by clergy reporting to him, Archbishop Wilson (of Adelaide) was allowed to serve part of his sentence - in a 'home detention' arrangement.
Because of his age and health, the Catholic church - together with Pell's lawyers - will soon seek a similar deal for Pell.
Providing a guarantee that Pell will quietly reside in a closed community - under strict conditions - organised jointly by the Australian custodial services, and the church.
That is - if his forthcoming appeal #2 fails...

Could you print up the Mail article and mail it to Pell there in Australia? I really think it could help him (or send it to his lawyers if easier).
