Bookworm Just because something is in the public domain doesn't mean it is 100% certified fact.

It's what we don't know that is the problem.

Dodgy lawyers (one now inside) and payments made by a President who is supposedly innocent.
If Trump was sure he was innocent he shouldn't have paid a penny and gone to the authorities.

As usual though it's the ordinary man/ woman in the street who have to answer whilst vile shits in power try to wing their way through the mess.

Whether the USA foes the right thing by the truth or not.
Other countries will know the truth, see it for what it is and seriously consider business transactions.

Shit sticks and nobody knows that more than the media. After all, they bred that kind of environment.
JK2006 Indeed and many feel encouraging an investigation into possible corruption by your rival or his family is a fairly sensible strategy and no reason to impeach someone.
Barney The transcript of Trump's conversation with the Ukrainian President - the pivotal transgression - is now in the public domain.

A rather black and white scenario - just like the eventual outcome, in the light of the Republican majority in the US Senate.

Bookworm The vote to impeach is cast. It went against him.

I'm glad it happened. Why?

People like Weinstein, Epstein, Cosby, and Prince Andrew were all thrown under the bus. The Me Too movement has rocked male civilisation whilst Trump has remained unanswerable on his Stormy saga.
Families are being destroyed by Social Services in the USA and UK whilst far from decent) powerful public sector types refuse to budge.
Like I said, the scales of justice were anything but balanced.
He must answer and the truth told on that. Otherwise he should not be acquitted.
I know some will argue he didn't do the deed whilst in office but the checks to the lawyer were signed when he was?
If he is innocent then he shouldn't have paid a penny to anyone. Let's hear the excuses.

Boris next?
