The reconstruction of Royal Lodge in Windsor - one of the abodes that Andrew was bequeathed, tax free - cost almost £8m.
His contribution was just £1m. It seems the taxpayer payed the rest. Ex-wife Fergie also lives there - or, when convenient, at their Swiss mansion.
All with high technology security systems, and guards constantly patrolling, at the British taxpayers' expense.
My 60+% taxband makes we wonder whether Corbyn wasn't that wrong. Supporting healthcare is good; not royal and historic remnants.

Which of those many claims do you refer to?
Paying - as a taxpayer - for the refurbishment of Harry and Meghan's Windsor gaff gauls me though.
And we probably also paid for the massive amount of work carried out on Andrew's place nearby - generously donated to him, by his granny.

Do you have anything to say about the vexatious claims made against the royal family?
Or is that fair game? |

This rather pompous, privileged and irrelevant bloke has done nothing wrong.
Whilst single, he enjoyed his social life - on a couple of continents.
Funding is what matters. It's almost impossible (by design) to ascertain the taxpayers' contribution.
Undoubtedly it's significant.
But we even paid for the refurbishment of his brothers's Windsor mansion.
And many in the Kensington Palace apartments - the royal residents (or their foreign partners) don't even pay for cleaners. Andrew's daughters included.
