That's another typo Barney.
Secururity?
Did you perhaps discover a vial yourself whilst writing that?
Air travel remains the safest mode of transport.
Take the death toll of the Chinese Virus. Compared to the world's population, in the grand scheme. More people die in freak accidents.
Remember the Mad Cow Disease?
Barney
More than half the world's population (c4.5 people) now fly yearly, making travel both useful and affordable - but fraught with new dangers.
Incidents, faults and accidents are, consequently, becoming the norm - largely because of the increased usuage.
Planes that won't perform have cost Boeing $10 billion, so far. Terrorists, viruses, drones etc. - now have a larger playing field. So easy to leave a vial, in the seat pocket!
What I have found though - in my wanderings - is that the secururity standards of airports differ dramatically.
From the Draconian to the Dickensian, to use dated descriptions. Some places, you're virtually strip searched; othes ignored.
