hedda	we live in Interesting Times Bookworm. Just read that "car share" drivers in Beijing earn far more than their UBER (now banned in London) counterparts. What struck me was that the driver they interviewed also had fuel costs a fraction of Uber drivers because..he has a mass produced electric car. The car he drives..cost around $10,500 about £5400 brand new ..for what looks like a very good model. www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2019-04-...s-nothing-like-tesla # I just paid nearly twice that for a 3 year old car in Oz. ## The fact the recent CIA backed military coup in Bolivia co-coincided with Mr Morales plan to nationalize Bolivia's incredible supplies of Lithium (for car batteries ) is entirely co-incidental.
Bookworm	The Guardian Newspaper bans Oil company ads. Boeing sees first loses in two decades. Northern rail to be renationalised. BBC to cut 450 jobs. My predictions( always been): All transport companies will end up in public/ gov hands along with phone and ISP. Those companies make huge profits. Going where?
