I agree with the priniciple, we need to reduce green house gases, eat less meat, and have less children, however I think that the focus is wrong. Don't blame the older generation. Those that grew up in the 70s and 80s flew less, drove less, ate less, and used less plastic. It is the millennials that seem to fly more, eat more and drink more.

Also we need to reduce the world population, as we will run out of resources to feed everyone. Of course Greta is too scared to point out that people need to have less children for fear of been called racist.

Unless she was Bame then it would be different. Greta has flown more than then most young people her age. I know a family that can only afford same Haven holidays each and every year.

I did offer them some money so they could take a holiday to Florida, they are too proud accept handouts.

Remember Robbie, farmers breed cattle just to be eaten and I'm not giving up meat. Millennials bred more to get council houses or they did in my friends neck of the woods.

JK2006 I love teenagers; they are enthusiastic, discovering the world, able to be educated and informed. But the other side is a willingness to shout slogans and embrace simplification. Our fault - giving them instant gratification thanks to the Internet. Discovering something used to take ages; a visit to a library, pouring through books, rejecting false trails, research was time consuming but the results were far more gratifying and far deeper, more accurate, honest.

There are terrible consequences to going for the simplistic solution.

Greta may help save the world but I suspect she's more likely to end it.
Honey And actually...I think its a pretty poor show to bring all those children down only to say the same old speech they have already heard, and nothing new.
Step it up, Greta!
Honey It seems odd to me that someone worried about the death of humanity would bring thousands of children from different areas together in a crowded place to spread Covid 19.
