Italy now budgeting €25 billion - instead of €7.5 billion, as decided last week - to combat Coronavirus.

With almost 10,000 infections now - Italy now has the most, per capita, of any country.
But why the extreme measures and lockdown there - compared to other countries?
Largely because of pensioner demographics; Italy has the most in Europe.
Second only to Japan, wordwide.
