Sheba I am more intrigued by 'Erect 30', and whether this is some kind of subliminal message.
wyot I rather like the fact that the more fundamentally religious now have the problem of: if God is omnipotent why has he (always he, of course) done this?

Finally, they have a "plague". Real time celestial action and the Church has said: fuck all; "wash your hands" unless you have touched a holy chalice, then don't worry...(nod to Honey).

Even they know the limits of their relevance and credibility today. Not exactly shouting from the rooftops about their God's latest interventions, are they?

In some ways I admire the guy; least he is sticking to his guns. It was easier in late 80s for religious zealots to attribute AIDs to the "sins" of gay men; where is their voice now, apart from this chap?

If they aren't saying anything what is the point of them? If they are saying things
as ridiculously offensive as this idiot; ironically, natural selection will do for them.

Is it the sin of getting too old now that has begot divine rage?
Barney Politicians like this chap - and his views - are common in Northern Ireland, manifesting the extreme and irrational views held there.

By the DUP (Protestant) and Sinn Fein (Catholic) parties - the most fanatical on these islands. And evidencing the background to over 30 years of bloodshed.

The fact that both sides/parties have alliances with paramilitary organisations puts things into perspective.

As both have proved willing to fight (and kill) for their bizarre beliefs - one side despising the other.

One unequivocally wanting to stay in the UK - the other, demanding a United Ireland with the Republic.

Honey How odd. The links were ok for me. I hope everyone can see it, because they wouldn't believe us if we tried to explain it.
JK2006 Nope that neither - I had to try via Google!
