Barney In addition to the £50k loan facility readily available to businesses from tomorrow - unsecured and interest free - the FSGS has been suggested.

This is to help businesses stay in their
rented/leased premises - when they're unable to pay rent, because of closure due to coronavirus.

Currently most just can't pay rent - and this planned furlough is to spread the burden.

The business pays a lower rent; the landlord accepts a reduction; the FSGS pays the rest.

Another very generous government initiative that - it is envisaged - will include business entities, such as pubs, restaurants and shops.

Soon would be good, as landlords (often property companies) are already serving default notices on tenants - for the non-payment of rents.

By and large, the major UK property owners who provide space for business - require rents when due, no matter what!
