That made my day LS - thank you! I had a wonderful cast; terrific kids.
Little Sausage
Loved Shag yesterday and talking about using nom de plumes, the change of guises with crazy names really intrigued me..
I like how you weren't just producing others.. but creating artists out of thin air.. constant re-invention..
and the other thing.. you didn't make the common producers mistake
and get stuck in just one style.. you went from Bubblegum to Punk and Pop, Disco, Swing, Rock, Folk..
You didn't get caught up worrying about credibility and respectability..
Always liked the name of your label UK Records..
1973 "Supershit" what a bizarre song.. see I wouldn't have picked out your voice on this one..
but there is a little giveaway that it was you.. it has your signature chord/melody motifs
and the jk ace up your sleeve.. the "go up a bit" key change..
Here's today's choice pick from the jk catalogue of marvels
ME ME ME The Movie (do check it out..)
Hope, Life and Love (with the jk key change)
Read all about it n "The Moon"

I remember a relative playing 'Jerk Rythym' in the 1980s. Was it from the same album ?
Sire had Flamin' Groovies in their books. Living in NYC in 1980s they had tons of airplay. I thought they were better than most New York bands from the era.
