JK2006 Well I'd consider it extremely serious if I lived in Beirut BB just as I'd consider Covid19 extremely serious if I was dying from it. I'd consider it extremely serious if I was now out of work and penniless and developed a cough and a fever. I'd consider it extremely serious if I was diagnosed with cancer. So you are right, as you live in Beirut; it is extremely serious. Otherwise you'd just be sucking up media exaggeration, pretending to care about people you don't know and don't mind about, hypocritically pretending to be a deeply caring person, enjoying the drama and getting your kicks by how dreadful it all is for those poor Lebanese before going off to the pub to discuss football. Wanker.
Little Sausage This was a text message I sent a friend of mine..

It was once the Monte Carlo of the Middle East.. now the infrastructure is hopeless, so is the government.. the currency has devalued by 80% they have no electricity for 16 hours a day (they all use diesel generators if they have the money for fuel) none of the traffic lights work would you believe as the government can’t pay the bills.. and now the Port of Beirut has been blown up...

It's serious. Just not extremely serious.

135 dead, 5,000 wounded and hundreds of million of dollars of destructions in a country with 85% devaluation of currency. Unemployment between 40% and 60% Hyperinflation. Overcrowded hospitals due to Covid-19, Corrupt Government etc etc etc

I think that is an extremely serious situation for any country. That conclusion of course would require you to admit you werte wrong which given your track record isn't going to happen
JK2006 You are totally believable and predictable BB; you see and read what you want to and what you are told and ignore the reality. I'm sure you love the Emperor's new suit.

Beirut is a ghastly disaster; just not as bad as media painted.
Lebanon suffered from Covid19; just nowhere near as badly as media hyped.

It's serious. Just not extremely serious.

Extremely serious is the Rohingya situation which you and other gullibles prefer to avoid noticing, changing or helping.
Blue Boy You are unbelievable. Even in times of mass suffering you won’t admit you might have misread the situation even slightly and continue to bang the drum the same way every time. Even if someone was suspicious of the words of the media the photos and videos from Beirut tell the story of a real disaster of a massive scale. Making every story to be about yourself and your personal agenda doesn’t help win any sympathy for your cause.
