For once I am in agreement with Barney that the drinking of beer in a hassle free attractive pub is the biggest challenge!
I have had the worst summer of my life as my wife was diagnosed with cancer but, after a month of waiting to find out if it has spread, we learned this week it has not.
We can cautiously look forward to a positive future, and the kids.
So while stuck in the UK cos of above, anywhere is a wonderfully happy place to me at the moment this summer. If I could bottle this renewed love for life and send it to you all I would; it is the best drug going.
Enjoy the summer all, forget the little things, life is a blessing and all this madness in the world at the momemt will pass.

Here is where, LS?
30°c now, on the south coast of the UK.
Expected to hit 36°c - in a day, or so.
No need to travel - for a better climate!
The biggest problem in the UK now - is finding a mask with a built-in flap - to facilitate the drinking of beer.

Certainly not like that.. winter here, cold and grey and under night time curfew and daytime not allowed to travel more than 5 km from home. Allowed out for only one hour of exercise and one shopping 🛒 trip to closest supermarket each day.
So not a bundle of fun..
So don’t forget me when you’re on your island
Swimming in the sun and having loads of fun
