By chance caught this on BBC 4 yesterday evening. Second time for me. As you say wonderful and very moving film. What struck me for the time it was made was just how sharp and fast the dialogue is. I was mesmerised.

It's funny that it's on a lot even on North American TV, I have not seen it.
Tell me if Bogart mumbles just like he did in Treasure of Sierra Madre ?

On BBC2 one of those few films no matter how often you see it, you can't take your eyes or ears off the screen for a single second. Certainly one of the five best movies ever made.
