I had a mental breakdown out of the blue a few years ago (never smoked, took drugs or drank much alcohol) and it was accompanied by delusions. But they were clearly (though not to me at the time) not based in fact or even in something that theoretically might be true, like a story of abuse.
The MISSING piece in Jo's sad but true case, is ABUNDANT in the massed NUTcase F.A. Industry - MONEY!

Well said. I don't suffer from depression just a lot stress and money worries. I know things will fall in to place eventually but I need to at the present time.
It's hard to plan and move to the next level with this Covid 19 nonsense. Latvia is doing wonderful and my investments are coming in, however it's a only a drop in the ocean. Investing in Chilean wine and vineyards has paid off.

Nobody can explain delusions Jo. Just because you or I don't have them (I think) - others can suffer. A bit like depression - my friend Fry says I'm Mono-Polar as opposed to Bi-Polar; virtually nothing depresses me. I think it's a chemical thing; a genetic thing; a chance thing; how we all turn out. Who can say? I attribute much of my good health to choosing not to smoke, take drugs or drink much alcohol.
