But isn't this what the Nightingale hospitals were for?
If they didn't build enough, how is that my fault?
If they stuck them in the wrong place, how is that my fault?
I suggest that in the extremely unlikely event that more hospital space is required here, that they stick another one up quickly and stop forcing me, and everyone else in Liverpool, to bear the brunt of their stupid mistakes! |

As we learn that 200 000 are projected to die (let's hope the projections are as accurate as Prof starti Ferguson's...) in the UK because of lockdown we must ask what are the lockdowns intended to achieve now? Save lives?
One of the main criteria for going into Tier 3 is "NHS capacity". Judged low in Liverpool they endure Tier 3. Areas with the same levels of infections are Tier 2.
Could it be that 200 000 will be allowed to die as Ministers scramble to avoid any headline on their watch of people dying in corridors because there was no ICU bed free?
Death numbers are low but just this prospect now has resulted in us being put under a Police state.
I am starting to suspect that this is what it is all about: careers.
We desperately need an emergency, independent body to start Governing the country, based on scientific advice that is wide-ranging and non partisan. |

and Belgium? First wave - corpses galore. Today? Nothing. |

Boring. BORING! I know many simply wish I would stop going on but can someone please ask our Prime Minister or the appalling Hancock why, when all evidence in France, Spain, Italy, Belgium and the UK indicates that this second wave of Covid19 is not lethal and far less serious, we are all still getting locked down, ruined, fired and depressed? Today's figures in France... |
