Honey I get the impression that he was already in hospital with his COPD and chest infection, and then got coronavirus?

There is a big difference between people going to hospital because they are ill with covid, and being in there for something different, getting infected because of sloppy hygiene and dying from it.

Surely hardly anybody should be catching it in hospital now that we know how to prevent transmission?

I suspect that the phrase "with covid" is covering up a scandal.
robbiex I really loved Cannon and Ball back in the early 80s, when they were getting bigger audiences than Morecambe and Wise. They were the last of the great comedy double acts where there was one straight man and one funny man. Also good to see that he was re-united with Tommy Cannon in the last few years after falling out for years. We will never see this sort of family friendly comedians that we did in the 80s, even Peter Kay comes with a 15 certificate.
Green Man Was a very nice man also. Full of wonderful stories he loved a stiff drink also.
