md As obnoxious as Trump’s persona is, he is currently challenging his own rights to a fair election at a time when all our cherished freedoms have been put on the sharp razor’s edge. This may be a painful and unsettling time but it’s also exposing in fuller relief, the ways and extent to which the media and big business pull the strings in determining the outcome of elections.
Wyot Thank goodness it looks like Biden. While the blm/antifa left thugs are just as to blame for the troubles to come on the streets, Trump's language and views I think are hateful, and fuel hatred and the world will be a healthier place without them.

I get what you say about Trump and Covid JK, but I don't think he has acted in this way because he has studied data or thought about the situation in any depth.

Like anything that damages him, he just pretends it isn't real, and just by luck has found himself on the intelligent side of the Covid argument in terms of global over reaction.
JK2006 He was right not to panic and to try to stop his country panicking. The death rate in the USA is similar to that in most other countries apart from the Death Five. Looking at the ratio of deaths to cases.
middlemas Trump right about Covid!

He simply made stuff up.
JK2006 I feel rather like I did when Jeremy Corbyn lost; relief (saved me a fortune I'm sure Labour would have taken) but sad because I thought he would have been a decent PM. Likewise I think many aspects of Trump were the opposite of my feelings so I'm pleased there will be ObamaCare again, the stupid wall will come down. But Trump was right about Covid, right to defy the media (and beat them).
