Poor Wyot seems to have the amnesia virus
And you appear to have contracted that virus that grows in-between anteaters toes, PED-ANT-1c.

You either look at this differently and realise we over reacted, protect the vulnerable and get on with life. Or you believe the cessation of civilised and economic life is a proportionate and necessary response.
The Gov and most people still appear to believe the latter.
So lockdown fully again until a vaccine is found. Stop delaying what we have to do.
Middlemas, above is my post in full.
Quite clearly I was taking the part and voice of the "Gov and most people..." to highlight the logical outcome of those I had been arguing against since March.
The give away to my position is the word "realise" in the first sentence.
Middlemas, you are a mystery to me. We both know we have been arguing lockdown since March, only I have not had to change my name because of behavioural issues.
You have gone to some lengths here Middlemas. Either you have a notebook at hand of my posts ready to easily quote me out of context, or you invested a lot of time in this whole "gotcha" thing that isn't.
Either way; stop wasting my time. And yours.

Oppress and exploit BAME and working class people, make them more vulnerable to the virus, and then lock them all up in case we catch it from them?
Differences by ethnicity just down to where you live/what job you do.
Thankfully; otherwise just be fuel for the racists....

And even if it did shouldn't those at highest risk (by being in this group) quarantine to protect the larger population?
Highest risk of what Paul?
Getting infected, dying or infecting others? Everyone already who knows or suspects they are infected is asked to self isolate, with no reference to individual characteristics.
This covers your point without the need for racial discrimination.
And to protect the larger population from what? If you "quarantine" all the people who are likely to die, then who will be left at risk?
