Scrooge The truth is whatever you want it to be, sprinkled with a generous serving of confirmation bias and drizzled with denial.
Honey When did anyone behave sensibly in a flu outbreak?

We have lost half our trains locally.
It was stupid enough when they halved the service in lockdown (Because you need more, to leave more space, not less) but now it has become quietly permanent, by the looks of it.
JK2006 with friends and afterwards Christmas shopping; the store was packed as were other shops in Piccadilly. In fact I'd guess ten times as busy as normal for this time of year; thus making ten times more infections and about balanced out the amount saved in lockdowns. Which, of course, doesn't matter if the virus is as trivial for most as we all now suspect. As long as people behave sensibly (as if there was a Flu outbreak).
