Green Man Never the film personally I think musicals are cringe and embarrassing - however this is a very good book about Calamity Jane. www.amazon.co.uk/Calamity-Jane-Legend-Ma...1493031945&psc=1
JK2006 The first time I saw Doris Day was in this wonderful, over the top, comic musical. She was absolutely wonderful. And remained so in dozens of movies for the rest of her life. My adoration for her reached its peak when she covered one of my songs. Even after her death, royalties continue to pour in as people buy her albums. Watching this again on Boxing Day I know exactly why I loved it as a young teenager. A delight.
