Also, it might just be me, but it feels really icky to be giving awards for protecting children, when it is something any decent person would do, and not something out of the ordinary.
(I am ignoring my belief that these charities help nobody but themselves)

I wonder why Nigel Farage was skipped?
Agree with it or not, it makes far more sense for
man who brought about Brexit (that presumably we are supposed to be celebrating?)to be recognised than some of the others.

The NSPCC equivalent to Peter Saunders of NAPAC - both "charities" supported and enabled Carl Beech. Very odd. I notice Saunders did NOT get knighted. Wonder why not.
