I said nothing about [i]how[i] this body would take control just that in my view it is needed to take the politics out of a national crisis. The crisis being lockdown, not Covid. It could be put to the people but I agree with JK that we have had quite enough of that sort of thing. No, Parliament - as our democratically elected representatives - should agree a non partisan cross party body to take over.
JK2006	Some of us are not too fond of too many referendums Barney; one or two (elections) are OK; doing it for everything is a serious mistake; 99% of voters have no information or ability to consider. Unless you believe Media is fine to run the world.
