People are actually cancelling their TV licences.
BBC general knows the BBC can’t survive on subscription like Now TV and Netflix. The Beeb has a huge deficit now and are getting the Capita inspectors to harass the elderly and feeble. My partner told me in the past that these inspectors are just salesmen with a badge. They have no power and can only do an investigation if there’s solid evidence of evasion. Sign nothing, say nothing and don’t engage with salesmen.
The letters are bait to try scare you in to getting a licence. They are just circulars with the same bs as the last letter.

The blanket BBC coverage of Phillip's death is the most complained about event in TV history:
Could this be the start of people turning against a rampant, inflated media? Or is it merely a reflex action of the TV drug addicted nation as they realise their fix of Vera has been cut off and blind panic sets in?
