Anthony I did an interview with a local paper about Eurovision a couple of years ago. It was littered with inaccuracies and misquotes.

Nobody has heard of me. The subject matter was hardly contentious or salacious in any way. Obviously it caused no damage to my life, but nonetheless it contributed massively to my understanding of the mindset of journalists.

They are trained to produce an article to make it as "interesting" as possible, and the facts are at best secondary to that ethos.
JK2006 Sadly Mike I've got no "good character" to damage (neither has The Sun!).
Mike Willis Can't JK sue the Sun for branding him a PAEDOPHILE?
Solihull Exile Well the media and the CPP served us up a tale, and as such we as obediant sheep are expected to shallow it hook line and stinker.
Why is it such a crime to question their wisdom? Trial by media must be an horrific debacle, and one I would not envy others.
Just glad you're raising questions in the public eye, especially ones that the system does not want out in public. The lengths officialdom goes to avoid critical scrutiny certainly shows how much we've lost of our liberty these last few years.
zooloo News is certainly spreading... on another forum a link to the BBC version
