Lots of texts from my GP's office inviting me to have one, but I'm house bound these days (even before Covid) and no offers of a home visit. I live in a small rural village with no local services but, thankfully, the internet makes sure I can get most that I need. I see very few people outside of deliverymen (the do all seem to be men).
The doctors used to visit but since they upgraded their computer system they say there is no record of me ever having home visits.
Progress!
If they do get around to visiting me, I have no problem with having the jab, but I'm not losing sleep over it.
you must be under 60 yes? (lucky thing )
My neighbor who is 75 hasn't been outside for 5 months now but seems to be holding up OK. I bring her lots of treats and chat for an hour or so I think that's what it's all about- human contact.
I feel for those who are finding the isolation tough. Shows just how much we need that interaction with our species.

A lot of areas are providing transport, Paul, if that is possible for you?
Otherwise, do persist with the doctors. It doesn't matter if you needed a home visit before or not. You need one NOW!

Well done Hedda and I can confirm after spending 2 days in bed following my AZ jab that JK is correct. Although the younger you are the more likely you are to get side effects...

No problems at all with Pfizer Hedda but the AZ has many side effects (because they never tested it properly - not at all on the over 65s).
