Wyot I am informed that Ministers are being briefed today that the perspex screens they championed (and on which the hospitality industry in particular has spent tens of millions) actually increase the spread of Covid: they reduce air-flow. Ventilation is essential to reduce the spread of aerosol viruses.

The screen next to you at your favourite restaurant is increasing your chances of catching Covid. Just as the evening curfews if you live in Greece are.

Never rely on "common sense" alone as a reason to take action. It just means you don't have anything to go on...
