JK2006 I think we're looking at one more possible win; England are not bad but not great. Most of the others have at least one standout superstar. Even Wales has Bale when he's at his best (which he has been a couple of times).
Wyot I fear so too. They played a lot more creatively in the first half tonight but I am concerned at all the chopping & changing of personnel. Southgate doesn't know his best team. I am probably old-fashioned but think that a team needs to play regularly together to progress against the quality of sides coming. Or maybe Southgate is a genius and will "tinker" so cleverly to take us through. Time will tell!
JK2006 England now play France, Germany or Portugal; the only more guaranteed countries to beat them would be Italy or Belgium. So I fear we'll see the end of English progress.
