Quite. The State has no business passing laws that create these situations. The only possible justification it could have for doing so is if we are all threatened by a deadly virus; a virus with a 0-1% death rate comes nowhere near such justification. And of course I am making the same mistake as the majority in how I am framing this: assumption that the restrictions save lives, when there is no evidence that this is the case.
