Yes.
According to Lady Colin Campbell in her Youtube thingies, Prince Harry let it be known that this was the reason for Meghan having no contact with her father.
It explains why the Royals accepted Thomas Markle's absence so readily.
Of course, the Duchess might not know anything about this. The information apparently came from Harry, who might have made it up himself, or been told a lie. (Lady C appears to be spot on usually)
It would be a particularly horrible situation for someone to be innocent and accused, without even the prospect of a trial to clear their name. |
