it's of a vintage when they were still glamorous and beautiful looking.
# I'll never forget seeing Diana Dors driving the same model..a pink one down Westbourne Grove with the front full of all that white blonde hair.
New models are hideous and absolutely garish..need toning down.
here's a video of my favorite Youtube car enthusiast.. Harry's Garage as he buys a cheap Silver Shadow on Ebay and drives it all the way to the North Pole with few problems.

I've noticed that my Rolls gets an incredible amount of attention this year in Europe. In the South of France it seems to be the only Roller in the entire Riviera. Normally there are dozens cruising around. Several parked outside the Carlton. This year, of course, the Carlton is closed but my car gets a massive amount of gazes, photos, selfies. In the posh hotel parking there are a few GB plates, the odd Ferarri, Lamborghini or Porshe, but no other Rolls.
Does this reflect Brexit, Covid, both or something else?
The Silver Lady emblem has been a UK symbol for decades (even though it's now a BMW car; horrid new models; I won't buy one; without the emblematic square radiator). But all over Italy and even Germany (I drove past the huge Munich BMW show tower many times; not a Roller anywhere) my Rolls was a spectacular success. Mind you, so was I but that's due to my colourful clothes sense or perhaps my stunning good looks).
