Anthony I've always said this, the media are only guilty of feeding the public what they want. It is a disturbing and nasty symbiotic relationship. We seem to be careering headlong into a Dark Age. Maybe we are already in it.

I honestly don't think the species will be destroyed though. We'll move out of the Dark Age one day, but sadly none of us will be around to witness it.
chrissy Which immediately brings to my mind the Madeleine McCann circus. Sky news hounded Robert Murat, a completely innocent man, in the desperate hope they had gotten hold of another Ian Huntley. I refer to it as the media's 'Soham In The Sun'. They didn't get the story they so desperately craved. Madeleine murdered by British expat!! And of course if Madeleine is never found, Murat will be forever linked with her disappearance. I have just read your article on Richard Stott. Most certainly a very rare breed of journalist.
JK2006 Kristian Guru Whateverhe'scalled grills a cop over the De Menezes report.

Andy Heyman "deliberately" misinformed the public.

But the problem is actually the media DELIBERATELY exaggerating any and every story, from the Queen to the dying Alzheimer's man, they simply cannot help themselves.

They want the BETTER STORY.

That's absolutely what happened in my case - the climate of exaggeration poisoned the facts by the police, lawyers, media, judges - yes, even me, the defence, the other side.

We all need THE BETTER STORY.

It's the only thing that wins.

Why? Because we, the public, want THE BETTER STORY.

More dead please. More ghastly excesses of sexual perversion. More grisly murders. More evil behaviour.

This is what worries me. It will destroy the species, mark my words.
