JK2006 I suspect that since everybody knew he would be found guilty of the child porn charges (he admitted it) and would therefore inevitably get custodial (18 months to 3 years I'd guess), all concerned felt he'd be better off getting it started (remand period will be time served).
Carl I was quite surprised to hear that Langham had been remanded in custody until September the 14th.
I though he may well have been released on conditional bail until sentencing.
