Savile was dead before the travesty of Operation Yewtree, wasn't "investigated" for it and indeed as The Met's website clearly stated, they were not investigating Savile allegations because..errr..he was dead.
But it's a Good Story and the tabloid media endlessly re-write history.
In 200 years they will say there was no such person as Jimmy Savile and he was an Urban Myth.
