'M' In MWTs statement he says he will not go over the story if nothing new to add, I cannot think of one he has done where all he does is churn over the known and brings nothing more to the table apart from drama to titilate
Jo Sorry for the repetition. I thought I had forgotten to click submit for the first message.

Was Fiona (photo in article below) in the latest Savile documentary?

Revealed: Fake letter that cast doubt on Savile victim's claims... and played key role in BBC decision to ditch its Newsnight investigation

For her part, Fiona denies forging the letter. Although she initially insisted that it was genuine, last night she conceded that she may have been the victim of a hoax.
One of the comments under the article says: "I don't understand-who faked the letter?" That's why I wonder too and why the MoS didn't get to the bottom of it.

Some interesting comments:

"There is something profoundly disturbing about this whole case and the way it has dominated the pages of newspapers, this one in particular. For all of these what seem to be uncoroborated allegations to now come out when the guy can't defend himself, for him to be declared guilty in the media before there has even been an investigation, talk of forged letters and a bit of compo is not the way justice is supposed to work in this country. WHAT'S TO STOP ANYONE NOW MAKING ALLEGATIONS AGAINST THE DECEASED IN AN ATTEMPT TO OBTAIN A BIT OF COMPO? "

"Remember the woman who claimed to be a survivor of the Twin towers disaster? It took years to expose her as a fake, when in reality the proof was there for any decent investigator to discover. These people who 'come out of the woodwork' to make claims must be treated with suspicion - especially after the death of the 'accused'"

"Ehis letter is obviously a fake, so why would someone do that, other than to make Jimmy Savile look guilty and protected, when in fact there was simply not enough evidence. This was a despicable trick, and in my opinion has completely destroyed any possible investigation into his conduct. Someone was out to ruin his reputation, and if they had to use this sort of action in an attempt to achieve this then The CPS were wholly right in their decision because this won't be the only lie that was told."
JK2006 You're repeating yourself Jo. Repeating yourself Jo... Yes it COULD be those shots were from another show but why include them? NO reason at all. There are many secrets behind MWT and I suspect many may emerge during the next few weeks. I wonder whether the lady who produced THAT letter from "Surrey Police" will admit where she got the notepaper from (out of date - from a few months before the forgery was made; but co-incidentally in force when MWT was with Surrey Police). If she did, many would be prepared to support her.
Jo Could the clip with him in it have been from a previous programme?

By the way, there are comments under that LinkedIn article, though it looks as if you have to be signed up to LinkedIn to see them all.
