Wyot I think Boris has been brilliant on Covid recently. He saw through the nonsense from day one, but didn't have the nerve to hold course. Perhaps setting an example and showing a way out of this nightmare (the over reaction; not the virus) will be his legacy to the world.

Next Thursday the panic officially ends in the UK.
JK2006 We can but hope. All depends on whether our leaders (the media) have a better story by then.
Wyot From the noises coming out the UK, WHO and elsewhere back to normal I think...
JK2006 that there will be another "new variant"? More infectious; even less lethal. Will countries realise tests are pointless ands useless (cases leapt last September/October by tens of thousands; washing hands, singing happy birthday, vaccines - none were cutting the number of infections but vaccines, deaths of the vulnerable, changes in the virus were making hospitals less busy and deaths figure tiny).
